Bacon and Cheese-stuffed Croissants… Ohhhhh London snacks
1 note &

‘I have so much time..but at the same time, so little time to waste!’
Sight seeing that is.. I am looking at the calendar wondering WHY I haven’t been soaking up more of London than I should be…Today is the start of some productivity with exploring.
I have been lucky enough to work with Cocomaya for the last couple of days and all I can say is WOW what a lovely group of people, front and back of the house all have such positive energy and nothing but love to give. I worked in the bakery and then with the Chocolatiers and ahh I love this place. I am learning more than I had ever imagined and I can’t wait to upload all my pictures and videos to share with YOU. Whoever, you are… :)
Hopefully I will have a nice date with my computer and tumblr to upload all of my skills and knowledge I have developed about life and food so far, CHEERS!
My sister has just arrived and it’s time for some sister bonding. I miss her.
As for today
Be productive in a relaxed sort-of-way.
Smile because you can
Don’t let anyone get in your bay.
Your bay is your lake, your happy your say
Whenever things are bad we let it slip away.
Ignore that BULL SHIP that tries to linger and stay
Just remember, you can change anything and make it okay.
Theres been slight drama
Maybe with a roommate or maybe your mama
But if you focus on that you will feel SPAT on, hit in the face by a lama.
CAAAALLLLLLMMMMMM-a and wash away the frown
Don’t let anything or anyone get you down.
If it’s being weird or conversing on the underground
You make your journey if you raise up the sound.
My sister is here and I am oh so happy
Sometimes we fight and it makes me sappy
Then all of the sudden we get a bite to eat and think
Why are we wasting this time lets get a chai drink
A simple cup of ‘Assam Superb’ tea
and a nice Fortnum&Mason biscuit
and BAM smiles all over, like a candle just lit.
It is our first journey together
One to remember forever, like juice in the eye from a lime
We will slightly be apart from traveling time
But share cute outfits like skirts and pants
Them more importantly, to share a plate in France
Taylor Allen, I’ve known you all my life
Let’s start this right, I’ll sharpen your knife… ;)

While walking past a couple shops I thought I saw a farmers market..but nope! Just your local petite grocery store. I have never seen a honey mango so this made my day!!! They are a smidget larger than a lemon and they literally taste like a mango with honey infusions…very interesting! They are from Pakistan and when I ripped it open I was sad to see the minimal amount of fruit meat…oh well, good think I got an abundance of them… :D

Well I just arrived in London around 12:30pm on the 11th of July and FINALLY entered my trip to the food world. I plan on exploring Europe and learning a stomach-full of new food, cultures and things beyond my wildest dreams.
Supposedly England doesn’t have much of a culinary filed within my passion. They do have a lot of pubs and my first experience was…….. questionable..!
I was just watching Julie and Julia on the plane over and when I saw ‘bruschetta’ on the menu, my stomach twitched, mouth watered, and eyes smiled in agreement. I got it right away and we also ordered some nachos. (Talk about an instant hunger and impatience to look for other restaurants)
The waitress was walking toward us and I went cross-eyed. My bruschetta (ideally a wonderfully toasted baguette with fresh heirlooms tossed in garlic, evoo, vinegar and maybe garnished with basil) was garlic bread with marinara and crumbles of feta cheese……..WOMP!
Food success #1= lacking :/
I definitely backed up my reasoning that ‘foodsetsthemood’ because we ate every single morsel and was skipping out in happiness. Ohh the joy that food gives us!!!
